| 17 Apr 2002 | Peggy/Narina | Loading...Excellent job, though I suspect the scanner munched some of her features, her eyes don't seem to have quite the expressive quality that your eyes usually do. Maybe I could see it in person? I love the hair, but didn't get the impression she is flying somehow. Background or less neat hair might help that impression. Love the shading on the cloak, very superhero-ish pose James Milligan replies: "Actually, it wasn't the scan, it was the forced resizing of the picture to fit on Elfwood. I really should rescan her at the appropriate size and resolution and re-upload the picture. I might just do that. Thanks, Peggy!" | |
| 17 Apr 2002 | Jennie Seay | Loading...Y'know, a simple background on this one would be nice. Maybe the edge of a cloud or a bird or something? It would enhance the illusion of flight. She looks cute, for a superhero. James Milligan replies: "Back... Ground...? What is this... Back... Ground... you speak of? I know the term not... Well, okay, I do, but you know my utter fear of backgrounds, Jennie. You've seen the terror that such a thing raises in me... You KNOW, man! YOU KNOW!... :calms down: Okay. Maybe I'll start overcoming my fear of the things soon enough. I think. And of course she looks cute for a superhero! Why shouldn't she? " | |
| 17 Apr 2002 | Robin | Loading...Just curious, where does her cape attach on her right side? James Milligan replies: "It doesn't, really, it's just sort of a drape-style-thing. I got the idea from some designs from comics like "Astro City" and "Top Ten" (two of my all-time favorite Super Hero books, btw)." | |
