The Coast City Guardians; Independant Super Hero Team, friends by nature, family by need, and all-around good eggs. These are Non-Player Characters in a Champions game I run, and I'm rather happy with them. They were an attempt to do a Kirby/Grell/Duursema-esque style Super Hero team (Meaning they are varied in body type, have believable proportions, and genuine personality to them), with a bit of the modern style comic-book artistry thrown in (costumes, poses, and whatnot). From left to right, they are: Static, Scratch (front), Id (rear), Partisan, and Pike. Yes, Pike's an alien.

You play Champions? I used to collect books for it, until the local bookstore stopped selling them. Anyhow, need any villans or monsters for your campaign?

Now there's something you don't hear every day... 2

I love the way scratch looks, she looks like a cat that's been forced to sit and take a pill -it's very realistic.

Heh... hadn't thought of that... Thanks.

Squeak. Group shot. Woah. Impressive. Lurve Scratch's hands. So...scratchy. :fingers twitch: Neat costumes all around too.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Many Mahalos! Thank you! I do need to recreate the costumes, though. They're in need of a change and update..."

When I look at two of them in the picture, I see Gambit and Jean Grey...

:-) James Milligan replies: "Which is funny, considering that they're actually modelled after a couple of Hispanic character models from very hard to find comics. 12"
