From an old 2nd Edition D&D Game that eventually turned into a 3E playtest. Evelynne is an unfinished piece, and, yes, I am doing a color piece that I will upload as soon as I'm satisfied with it. More on her on my webpage. Evelynne is Shard Greymalkin's wife (Shard has his own piccie in the gallery, as well), and is something of an alchemist and scholar. Once again, more on her on the Jim Page. Several people are very enamored of this picture, and as such, I'm very happy to let other artists here do interpretations of her, so long as they give me credit and a copy of the pic. =)

In my opinion, this is your most perfect pic in the whole gallery. It's awesome! wtg and keep up the good work!

:-) James Milligan replies: "Thanks! I think it needs a lot of work, but... thanks!"

Talk about an image that quite literally got me to
sit up and take notice... While the costuming and pose are of course wonderful, I personally feel that her face is the best part of the piece. It is done very cleanly, and the addition of the glasses is a very cool touch. Great job!

:-) James Milligan replies: "You're right, her face IS the best part the picture, I absolutely love it, and I want to put it on a new drawing as soon as I can..."

She's beautiful! The way those ribbons in her hair move, just stunning!

The one thing I would say is that the glasses are an odd shape. They really stick out, because of how geometric they are. Perhaps that was your intent, but the celtic intricacies of the dress and boots may have been better set off with something rounder. I end up looking at the glasses more than I'd like to, but she does have a beautiful face.

:-) James Milligan replies: " You're right... I just wish I was able to finish that knotwork, though. Thank you, Li'!"

Yes it is very nice looking, but what is going on with her leg? It seems to me that it is sticking out at a strange angle. But it could just be me . . .

:-) James Milligan replies: "Yep. Her leg is wrong. One of the things I saw the moment I uploaded it and haven't ever been able to fix. Blast it."

I think I agree, her leg looks like it's coming out of a lower hip-joint than she should have, according to her waist.

I think the glasses do compliment her facial structure, though, if not her dress.

:-) James Milligan replies: " The leg is in definite need of repair. I should redo this pic. What's off about the glasses and the dress? I've noticed something not right, but can't put my finger on it. What do you think?"

The detail and expression in the pose and clothing is amazing.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Thank you. I'm really rather fond of it, as well."

Awesome picture! On another note, I want those shoes......

:-) James Milligan replies: "A friend of mine is getting a pair made, actually. I'll see if I can get ahold of a few pictures of them when she's done."
