Assumedly right next door to this one is the black and white version of this. Not bad for not using Layers, Channels, and the like in years, eh? I know I could have done better, but I didn't want to over work this. The color of the Stockings comes from suggestions by Brian Cooke and Stuart Palin. The little embellishments are compliments of suggestions from Gayle Bird. The freaked out background 'panels' and the characters name are courtesy of inspiration gained from the works of Drea O'Dare. Go see their galleries. They're frickin' awesome, says I. For what it's worth, I picked up a great tutorial at www.polykarbon.com on how to do the coloring this way. Go see it. =)

Big love of the sleeves.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Big thanks of the compliment. Glad you like, Ali. I'm thinking of making another one of these for Damon, any suggestions as to what I should make of it?"

For me, it's the tiny details - the string/ribbon on her left thigh, the ankle bracelet, and the sneaky little metal axe-y bit on the end of her staff. Handy for the times when she just ain't got a spell to hand! (Reverse staff and STAB! Heheh)

:-) James Milligan replies: "Glad you like it. The little fiddly bits were the most fun for me, as well."

Gah...I had a hentai version (where Mel is performing some improptu staff techniques...12 ) all pencilled out, but I lost the f*cker a couple of months ago. I've GOT to stick these things in some kind of folder...

:-) James Milligan replies: "That's the way it always goes, man. ALWAYS. Sorry to hear it."

Yummy color. Those stockings are definately a fashion statement. ~.^ I like the background color you used, though you may want to try using a brown or light yellow so it doesn't detract from the actual char portrait. *shrugs*

:-) James Milligan replies: "I tried a different color, it didn't reduce well down to web colors. =( And a "fashion statement" is definitely what I had in mind."

Neat! I liked Belgurdo's work! Not bad Rocky!

:-) James Milligan replies: "I thank you, and I'm sure Damon thanks you. =)(You know, it's going to take some time getting used to that nickname... I blame Alicia, I really do... not that that's a bad thing...)"

I love the costume design, and the colors you chose work great. I love witch hats!

:-) James Milligan replies: "Glad you like the witch-hat! =)The costume is a slant on the one that Damon originally did, with a few twiddles of my own added. Thanks for the comment."

damn! you have talent, girl, keep it up! she´s so hot too...can I keep her?

:-) James Milligan replies: "Thanks for the compliment, but... Um... 14oints at his name and gender: I'm not a "girl". I've been described by several women as not a typical male, but... I should hope I'm still recognizable as one! =)Thanks, and I'll ask Damon about whether or not you can keep her. =)"

hehe, sorry man, I was just looking through a girl´s gallery before, and I wrote "girl" about fifty times, so the word kinda got stuck in my head. anyway, I apologise, and as said before, the pic is great!

:-) James Milligan replies: "You know, I could swear I've replied to this before, but I don't know where the reply went! In any case, it's quite all right, old chap. No worries. 2"

I have absolutely no idea who this is supposed to be.. but I love this picture. Very wonderful! Defined lines! Great colors and a wicked cool pose. You did a particularly excellent job with this woman.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Thank you! Sorry it took so long to get back to your comment on this. If you'd like to know more about her, check out Damon Lawrence's gallery, as she's his baby, after all."

I have those stockings in purple. 12

:-) James Milligan replies: "Ooh. Standard response: Do please, if you have costumes like I draw here, share! 2"
