SciFi and Fantasy Art Melliune Fornice: By Damon ´Belgurdo´ Lawrence (Interpretation) by James Milligan

So, this is Melliune Fornice, as seen by me. Pretty similar to the original, done by Damon Lawrence (go see his gallery! Go now!). I actually made her skirt a bit longer, although at the angle her leg is at, you can't tell at all. Yes, I planned it that way. Sue me. Check the original, she IS that busty. I added the very cool (in my opinion) stripey thigh highs (Johanna, Liselotte and San must have gotten to me...), as well as making the bauble on end of her hat into a firey puff-ball. Oh, and as well, I decided to make her staff a bit more sorcerous, what with the floating bits of metal, the crystal in the middle, and all that. The blade on the end was added for balance and because it looks cool. =) And, if you squint, you can see my name written on the staff. Reducing the bloody thing to 72 dpi for web viewing killed some of the finer details though. Firk Ding Blast! I plan on coloring this... although I'm sure Damon wouldn't mind if someone were to do it, besides me, as well. =)

Oh, me like. ^^ You got a thing with long stockings, huh? ^_~ I think I'm gonna end up drawing something with such a "witch-hat" sooner or later. I simply love those. (Hey, it's called inspiration and you're good at giving such) Anyway, the pose is good, I like her hair and eyes and I really like the staff.

Stuart: Thanks for the words on the tiny details, I tried. Damon: You, too, can make such cool weapons. It just takes a lot of use of the French Curve. =)

Yeah, not only do I have a thing for the thigh-highs, but I also felt that Melliune's legs must be cold in such a short skirt... so I added them. =) Besides, they look cool. =) Feel free to use any of my stuff as inspiration, should you wish. =)

I'm sure she's happy for those long (warm) stockings. LOL So'm I, Rikke. =) See, they've obviously got to be thick and sturdy, to stay up like that, right? =) And yes, I have never denied that I have a thing for shapely legs in thigh-highs. =)

The cut-out shoulders are cool, although I'm sure that stuff is also in the original (obviously I haven't seen it). The staff I'm sure would be very much coveted by my Everquest-obsessed friend.
