| 21 Apr 2000 | Jim (Stealth Man) | Loading...Don't worry, folks, I know where he lives. =) | |
| 1 Sep 2000 | Carrie Gross | Loading...Heehee, Random Drunk amuses me... Great pic, Jim. Although I am not a personal fan of scantily clad women (I dunno, I got this problem called estrogen, it kinda makes me attracted to guys instead .) you do a pretty good job of drawing them. (Gee, wonder why? *coughgirliemagscough* ) *peace* | |
| 6 Sep 2000 | Jim (I Like Women, and I'm PROUD of it, I tell you!) | Loading...Actually, it's because I was raised by women, had LOTS of female friends growing up, spent some time obsessed with the female form, and had mostly female models in my Life Drawing classes. Also, ninety nine percent of all Pose books on the market use women more than they use men. Check it out for yourself, Carrie. You'll see I'm right. And yeah, part of it's the girlie mags. You should try them, they actually work pretty well. =) | |
| 8 Sep 2000 | Jim (Walking Through The Far Side) | Loading...Yes, yes they are. And I figured you were joking, but I felt like I should play along. =) | |
| 8 Sep 2000 | Carrie again | Loading...Oh, that and chicks are easier to draw.... | |
| 8 Sep 2000 | Carrie | Loading...Heehee, I was just teasing. That's cool that you had an upbringing like that. Some guys I know would have benefited... And I admit, although I am straight I am also fascinated by the female figure (I have to live w/ it don't I?) hence the majority of my drawings. | |
| 19 Nov 2000 | Tamsin isles | Loading...these are excellent, and the ultra clean lines that you've used means that they're just *begging* for some colour... anyway, i especially like the frontal one (her shoes are just *too cool*, but then again, i think high heels are excellent, no matter how un politically correct thery may be). her little string bikini does suit her, but i er... think you need to give her a little bit more of a behind, as she does like kind of... flat in that area. other than that, these are some marvellous character studies. | |
| 20 Nov 2000 | Jim (The Candy Man! Run!) | Loading...Glad to meet you, Tamsin, and even more glad that you like the pics! I haven't done any coloring of this pic, although my friend Drea has colored the "Zap Kitten 2000!" pic for me. And she did a good job, too. Many thanks for the good suggestion and words! (And I like the heels, too.) | |
| 8 Dec 2001 | Lisa Coleman | Loading...I like your updated one better, the waist and hips of the one on the left are way too normal looking, though the lower left one seems appropriately anorexic. James Milligan replies: "Heh... it's funny, Lisa, that you'd use the term "appropriately anorexic"... my life drawing instructor, back when I did this pic, used the same term after I'd told him why I was doing the pic. We were supposed to do a "deformation" piece, and so I decided to poke fun at the comics industry. He pointed out the same things... the lower pic is good as a satire, the others are too normal. Thank you! Wanna draw up a Zap Kitten of your own? We could get a Zone-Wide Zap-Interpretation project going! Brian Cooke's already done one! =)" | |
