Yes, that's me in a doublet and other various bits of Rennaissance clothing. I dress up in silly clothes and pretend to be someone else quite frequently. Wanna make something of it? No? Good.

In any event, since the merger of Zone 47 and Lothlorien, I appear to have been stuck with my secondary account name, and, sadly, don't know of any way to get the old primary account name back. This disturbs me, but I'm learning to cope. It's a four letter word that more people should use, I think. Anyway.

Ninety five percent of my work is based on some manner of Roleplay or another, usually my characters, or someone else's. I make no claims of being perfect, but I have noticed an unusual number of people commenting on the shoes and costumes I design. I think there's a shoe cult on Elfwood, or something. Constructive Criticism is always welcome.

I work at Yahoo! That is amazing. I wake up some mornings and think 'My goodness. I work at Yahoo! NEAT!' And then I eat my breakfast and go to work. At Yahoo! How amazingly cool is that? *GRIN*

A few things about my gallery:

I've been meaning, for some time, to put up my list of people I think you should go visit. I had one up for a while, but the merger happened and all the links broke. So, I'm slowly rebuilding it. Without further ado, the first of the links...

I admire your art, and I have a request for you.

Can you draw a few pictures for me, based on loose descriptions? I generally end up writing fantasy stories but I dont have anything to 'gaze at the character' with so if you'd have time & were willing to help it would be a great boon to my writing.

Umm.. I hope I am not being rude with this request.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Sorry for taking so long to get back to this. Work is heavy with the stress of late. I'm sorry, but I'm not taking commissions, lately, or for the foreseeable future. I barely have the drive and energy to do art for its own sake, and thus I know that I would be really ineffectual at doing commissions. Sorry about that. Perhaps sometime in the future, after I get back on the day shift and have more personal time. Check back after August."

Ach! It completely slipped my mind that I was supposed to pay a visit to your gallery. A foolish mistake indeed. You've got some great stuff here. I especially like the solid black inking in "Tylor" and "Maggie 3". If you ever want something colored just gimme a shout, okay? 2

:-) James Milligan replies: "Tell you what! If you want to color something, let me know what you've picked, I'll tell you the absolute-can't-break rules for what colors go where (Like, Alice's hair is actually nut brown on top and maroon on the ends, whereas in the black and white images, it's light on top and dark on bottom, or Maggie's hair is usually a shade of red that doesn't exist in nature...), and you can just go nuts with it, yes? Let me know!"

Nice hat! This is a good picture for you, It shows how nice your eyes are better than the last picture. I see you have many new pictures I need to comment on many that I have seen in person but warrant comment here as well. I uploaded a slew of new pictures too, and a new pic.

Before I write any intelligent praising of your work, I just want to say: @.@ -falls out of the chair, watching the room spin-
Well, with that out of the way, your work is absolutely beautiful, and it's quite refreshing to see someone else with a proper appreciation of the female figure, aside from the *ahem* "cantelopes on a stick" way of doing things. Kudos on developing your craft so well. Oh, yes, and by the way, I envy you so much for working at Yahoo!, at this moment listening to Launchcast radio.

Hey James! Long time no talk to. Anyway, I was wondering if you have a copy of Zap Kittens Champions write-up you could email me. I would be interested in knowing her characteristics, powers, and other stuff. Send any other characters you’ve got too, if you’d like. I get a kick out of reading Champions write-ups. If you don’t have one you can use this html page to do a write-up page (http://www.dougmacd.net/htmlhero/workspace_intro.html), copy and paste it onto a Microsoft Office .doc file. Doesn’t take too long. I did one for Joanna/Venus a while back and even have a list of D&D spells I tweaked to fit into Champions, if you want to have a look. Let me know. btw, the links for your new additions don’t work for some odd reason. I hope it’s just a temporary Elfwood glitch, cuz I wanna see your new pics; it’s been ages since you’ve updated your page. Talk yo ya laterz.

:-) James Milligan replies: "Matt, did I ever get back to you about this? Hit me up at my yahoo addy if I did or did not. I’m sorry it took so long to get back to you, man!"
