Here we have another character sketch. TerriLynn Doss was my Fantasy Hero character during the short time I played the game at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. If anybody out there recognizes this picture, E-mail me. As you can see, I've cleaned it up with Corel PhotoPaint 8, but I'm still not totally happy with the results, so I'll be tweakin' her some more. She was drawn with a mechanical lead-holder style drafting pencil using 4H graphite. Then the blacks were added with some Faber-Castell technical ink pens. The color was added with some cool Pentel markers I snagged from the BX. The background (if you could call it that) was added with PhotoPaint just before I uploaded it.

I love this! The only problem ( most likely it's just me) is I can't figure out her right arm.....is her hand inside the bow thing?

I see the arm, but it is a bit low in contrast. I like this image, but I honestly like the original one you have on display better. This one is a bit blurry.

I like the way the picture cleans up. I've just begun to play with a photo editor and like it a lot, although the color doesn't come out well. The arm in this picture places the hand at the shoulder holding the crossbow strap. A slight lightening of the high areas on the arm might bring it out nicely and give it even more depth. Very nice proportions giving it a realistic quality.

She's very sexy! Though her feet are rather small ne?

:-) Eric T. Hansen replies: "Nyeeaah...(chomp,chomp,chomp) Could be. (Bugs Bunny reference, sorry). Her right foot might be subject to a bit of foreshortening, as well as the fact that the way her boots are shaped take away some of the length of her feet. I dunno - too late now anyway. Thanks for noticing though."

I'm glad some of you pointed out the whole problem with her right arm. And you're right - it does get a little dark there. Also after some more contemplation, this drawing is pretty damn blurry as well. Hang in there, I'm tweaking.

Is it just me, or does she seem to fall heavily on her right leg? She looks like she is going to snap it! Great work anyways

:-) Eric T. Hansen replies: "The Playboy model I stole the pose from is still walking, I'm sure. Thanks for noticing though."

Oh its a cross bow duhhhh

The Bow: is it attatched at her fore arm if so then the shot fired from it must be intense, if it is not attached at her fore arm then a minor mistake has been made a bow is fired with the string running on the inside of the forarm even those firing with their bow at a side arm have their string inward it is all hand positioning of course if she can find away to fire that thing with the string forearmout that would be intense to
