SciFi and Fantasy Art War Horse by Eric T. Hansen

This is a sketch of TerriLynn's horse, Shelby, that I never got around to finishing...so I'm working through it right now on the computer. I've also got a sketch of the same animal in full battle armor, which I'm working on as well. This was another mechanical pencil sketch, that was gone over with my trusty Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph pens, so it wouldn't degrade over the years. I had actually planned on finishing this one.

And yes, I'm aware that the head is too small. Don't worry, I plan on ditching this from the gallery once I get some better stuff in here.

Hello, im 12 years old and can draw realy well, every on says "you need to be a artist" well, i love to draw and i hope i can draw so good as you can when im older, butt i dont want to be an artist, i want to do something els, butt i love to draw, what do i need to do??
17 May 2004	Arielondou	Loading... I like the drawing. The only question i have is why is his mouth open? Is he supposed to have a bit in or something? Otherwise, its a very good drawing. I'm also a self taught artist and am looking forward to setting my own page here.

Uh, i don’t think peolpe have the idea of how this works... this is a place to give constructive criticisim(sp) or a pat on the back, not to tear the artist down by saying they suck ahem or to talk about private life stuff. If it has to do with art, cool, if not, then not cool... Anyway, i LOVE this. His head is fine, and his body is awesome! And a horse IS allowed to open his mouth every now and then, sheesh. They make noises, like neigh... he could just be talkin’ to someone off-screen. Love this pic, keep up the great work. Oh, and the feathering, and muscle is outstanding!
