Hi Christina, I think your art is great. I am a fan of fantasy, some might say that's a problem, but who cares! I see in your comments a young man who is also named Almsted who was surprised at the coincidence. I am not a nut case, but I study family genealogy, and your husband being an Almsted makes me curious. The name comes from a town in Germany, Almstedt, that is accessible on the web as they host music concerts there. Do a search. The 't' got dropped by many families to look more american. There are Swedish Almsteds, like me, and German ones. There are about 6 family groups in the US that are separate. I come from a large group originating out of Western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis-St. Paul area of Minnesota. If your husband is of this group, I have family history going back to the 1400's in Sweden. I would be glad to share. Keep up the artwork, hope we are related. Terry Almsted

My name is Lorraine Almsted. I believe the Mark Steven Almsted who commented here is the son of Glenn. If so then your father Glenn is a brother to my Jerry. Are you a brother to Curtiss? Also, Christina, I have two Michael's, one is son of Delore and one is son of George and Delores and one is son of Delore and Joann. I would like to find out if your Michael belongs to that group. Lorraine, My dad is Mark Steven Almsted Sr. his dad was Glen Richard Almsted, His father Was Maynard Almsted and his mom was lillian Almsted, Curtis His my dads half brother and is my uncle, My Aunts are Cheryl,Karen and my uncles, are Randy,Curtiss, and jeff, they are all kids of Glen Almsted. If Jerry is my grandpas brother then Jerry would be the uncle of my dad.
