Tag As FavoriteComment		In the heart of the Wildwood, the Mage watches over the living Heart. She is part of the forest, and its life spring from her life. She sleeps in a deep spell, surrounded by the White Magic that keeps her from harm. The models for this photo are my friend Loren and my daughter Christine. Both gave their permission to use their images from the photos I shot. A lot of different images went into the background - I don't quite remember where I took all of the photos, but the Mage's seat was a large tree stump in the Olympic Rainforest.

::first comment jig:: The colors are so vivid, and yet like many works of art it doesn't hurt to just stare and stare...quite simply put, I find it calming. Makes me want to go walk in the woods, or write a story about it. I applaud you!!!

This picture is aawesome. I love the way the 'heart' becomes a tree, it looks really good. I love the animals in this picture too, especially the little fox curled up asleep in the botom left corner!! Tis is one of my favourites of yours, although i love all your pictures.
