That must be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! It's so cute!!! The wings are brilliant and I absolutely love the scale! She looks so...innocent! How did you colour her? (if I may say "her") Anyway, keep it up, 'cos you have really good stuff here!

*Febridë*

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thank you so much, Ingunn! I painted her with acrylic paints and Pearl Ex powders, which are iridescent pigments. "

This one's my favourite, it's so cute and i really like the details and the colours! i suck at choosing colours, yours always seem to suit the characters perfectly and make them so realistic, you do a fantastic job and should be very proud of yourself. keep up the completely excellent and ubberly awesome work!

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thanks a lot! 1 As for the colors, I usually take my cue from nature. I study real animals to get a feel for how nature would paint a certain creature. 1 "

WOW *falls over because she can't even make cutout cookies turn out very well*

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thanks Roxanne! 1 As with anything, it just takes a lot of practice and study. You can do it! 1 "

This is amazing...!!! What are the wings made of? And did you paint or mark the structures? He’s fantastic, really2!!! You can be so proud of it2!!!

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thank you so much, Stephanie! The wings are fabric and wire. I made the scales by pressing the end of a small coffee straw into the clay, and I painted it using acrylic paint and iridescent powders. "

WOW!! How did you do those fantastic wings? They take my breath away! The detail in this sculpture... it’s just so precise! You’ve got every single tiny scale perfectly in place! The frog-like legs are inspiring, and I love the tiny horns! They make it look like a baby! (I hate it when I start to talk like a critic, it makes it sound like I’m trying to act mature... 1)

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thank you! I love detailed comments. 1 The wings are made from feathers, sheer iridescent fabric, and wire (and just a touch of glue)."

:-) Erin ´EireWolf´ Metcalf replies: "Thank you! So do I; I want to do more with similar wings."
