I bought a book on Celtic knotwork, and found it full of braiding, weaving, fantastic animals, and the deeply spiritual symbol of the Tree of Life. Believe it or 'knot,' they potted it!

I noticed that a lot of people are confused as to the meaning of The Tree of Life. It originally appeared in the Holy Qabalah a few thousand years ago but the concept has since become sorta universal (Yggdrasil and such). On the Tree, there are 10 spheres of light called the Sephiroth. It is divided into three parts called the Pillars (sorta like branches). They are called Severity, Mercy, and Beauty. There are many excellent books on the subject. As for this drawing, I think it is perfectly lovely and quite elegant. It does not conform to the historical view of the Tree of Life but I am glad that it is always open to interpretation. That is what Fantasy is about! Great work here.

Hello! I absolutely love your picture. It uses a sort of "styleistic" sort of look that I am never able to quite achieve. What would look really great though, is if you added boarders around it, perhaps along with intercate backdrops. Middle eastern and British designs could be incorperated to give it a mythical, "old-worldish" sort of look! Then sell it to me so that I may hang it in my house!

first I must say I really like this.

This 'pot' you talk about is in fact the cauldron from which te celtic druïds said life had sprung from. It's also the ancestor of the 'holy grail'

Lovely. 2 I hate leaving these 'wow' comments, but there's simply nothing more to say!

Absolutely riveting. The color and the feeling of it just wants you to glow. I was searching for the old tree of life and found thins. It is truly beautiful. Perhaps you should own a gallery of such pieces. I love it.

Fantastic example. I'm looking for ideas on tattoo for my back and have decided on a tree of life. This is amazing.
