Immortal and eternally young goddes of the age of mechanical life.

I painted this as a birthday gift for my uncle whose not that "eterbally young" anymore. He didn't wish anything spesific, just something "space related". I think this is filled the criterion. I used the characters of Artemis and Diana from ancient Rome and Greece as an ispiration.

Acrylics on white paperboard.

Great pic syster, but I think it looks better in real life. But well, I think almost all of your works do. I noticed that here wasn’t so many comments so i decided to leave something for you 13.

:-) Elina Vähä-Mäkilä replies: "Hah, I don’t need your pity comments! 10 And it’s true that scanned images never look as good as they should, but luckily you can always take a couple of steps and witness the mighty originals on my wall!

I like the way the moon looks like part of the bow. Was that intentional?

:-) Elina Vähä-Mäkilä replies: "Originally it was supposed to be a part of the bow, but then I decited to paint it so that you can’t be sure whether it’s part of the bow or whole separate element."

Wow, stunning. You are the master when speking about colouring pics. I love this one, but I also like your dragons (I wish I could draw dragons - well I`ve never tried *blush*-shame on me!)
btw How long does it take to colour something like this one?

:-) Elina Vähä-Mäkilä replies: "You must try dragons, they’re lost of fun (untill you start making scales). I’m not sure how many hours it takes to colour a piece like this, because my school work and other duties force me paint in short sessions. Usually it takes about couple of weeks, hour or two per day. "

This is awesome! Though with her arrow-arm, you need to bring her elbow up some. It’s just one of those things I remember from when I took an archery class.

:-) Elina Vähä-Mäkilä replies: "You’re maybe right...plus I’m not a master of human anatomy details. I’ve been in archery class too but it was some time ago and I don’t remember all. "
