Update: Sadly I've been very inactive here lately and haven't updated any new images for ages. This has been due to the fact that pretty much all artwork I've been producing has been comissioned or customer work and too non-genre or otherwise unsuitable for my web galleries. (When I finally get a proper portfolio page up you can view stuff that I mostly do nowadays). Time consuming school projects are another matter. I've been learning all kind of super cool stuff such as graphic design, web programing, Flash, 3d animation...you name it, but at the end the day I'm usually too drained to draw much. I was also more productive when I had no life in relationship section what so ever, but now even that's changed.  

Still, I'm alive and full of inspiration and ideas for images I will eventually paint. When I got more spare moments (and learn how to organize my time better) I will be back tougher than ever. 





A little artist info:
I'm 20-year-old Finnish female, a student of digital arts in Arts Academy at Turku University of Applied Sciences. Drawing has been one of my dearest hobbies for a long time, and in the future it may be part of my profession as well. I continuously try to develop my skills and technique and  became a better artist.


Something about art usage:
You can see that all my pictures are under "all rights reserved" copyright. There's still some things you CAN do. You can download my pictures to your computer for private use, for desktop wallpapers and such. If you want to use my picture for something else,  please ASK FIRST.



Right now my main gallery in web is here in Elfwood. If you have feedback, criticism or praises, you can always drop me  a comment. I don't necesserily answer to all of them, but I do read every single one. I also have some of my pictures on display at a new Finnish fantasy and scifi site www.pomppivaponi.net

There's so many, but top favourites are Dragonlance saga (and pretty much everything written by Weis & Hickman), stories by H. P. Lovecraft, Anne Rice's vampire books and Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy -series by Douglas Adams

Nice stuff. I wish they would put a posting date up so you could compare the older stuff to the recent works. I can see you’re improving. I especially like your graphic pieces. You might want to explore that a some more (You might be but I can’t tell from the posts here.) because creating strong graphic silhouettes carries over into your illustrative designs. Overall, good stuff. Looking forward to see more in the future.

I’m pretty much torn between two directions, since I’d like to develop my style more painterly, but on the other hand more graphic, outline -based look is tempting and comes easy to me. I think I need to test more which style suits me best."
