They are actually twins. Old faeries. Although, you know, I have taken this picture in such a different direction than what I originally intended, that the meaning and the story behind it has changed somewhat. I traded in the elegance of a clean world for an interesting grotesque one. I think (unseelie) Faerie is pretty grotesque anyway. It is a world where beauty is synonymous with decay. I think someone said something like that of one of my pictures recently, and I thought it so was grousse that I filched it for this description, having nothing truly interesting or profound to say about it.
