Lucifer, the Morning Star, the beautiful, vain and knowledgable angel stands waiting and watching. This was never meant to be a representation of him, but it sort of eventuated this way, and I could find no other explanation for what I had made. Pencil drawing touched up digitally. I look exactly like the depiction of lucifer. It’s not funny. You can check out my pic at crueldemons.com. I have this pick of lucifer in the demonology part but my pics on the front page and man That is eirie. It’s like lucifer is looking at me from behind a mirror of everthing I dont want to be!

I LOVE this. I love the fact that you didn’t draw him with horns, cloven hooves, a pointy tail and bat wings. This is drawn more the way he is described in the bible, as he *IS* and angel. And the arrogant and haughty look that you gave him only adds to the description you wrote about him. I can only presume that the key he holds is to the gates of hell. And the snake looking halo is an added bonus. All in all in my opinion this is the best depiction of Lucifer that I have ever seen.

The key is the key to hell - I think I’d just been reading the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman where Lucifer gives up the key to hell to someone...anyway I thought a key was a good idea at the time 1"

Wow. It’s strange, but his physical beauty almost makes him scarier than if he DID have scary horns, pointy teeth and a whippy tail. There’s something cold about his eyes, and all those shadows give me the heeby jeebies.

I first saw this picture several years ago....I don’t know how to explain it but it haunts me...the beauty is surreal yet the evilness within him is so very apparent. I think of this likeness often. Somehow it scares the crap out of me.
