"Memories of murder" (I think). This is a marilith (naga-like, water demon).  She's enjoying her collection of dismembered heads, in the sunken city ruins.

BEAUTIFUL picture, as always. Browsing through your gallery is a pleasure.

There are different translations to Memento Mori, but it was a popular expression during the Baroque and translates into what has already been said; "I remember Death" or just "Remember Death", but the main message is really "Remember that you must die".

It’s "Remember You Will Die." I know this from A Series of Unfortunate events. This picture has just the right atmosphere.
