I don't care what those mean people said- your art is fantasy to the deepest level. All your pictures are absolutley stunning and magic- don't let 'em tell you otherwise. Rock on!

I do not find you stupid or ungrateful. No, you are very brave. For instead of running away, or ignoring the problem, here you are openly speaking about it. Bringing it to light. Fighting for what you believe. I applaud you. And I am sorry that there are so many fools in this crazy world.

Elsa, you're a very talented person, your art is really wonderful 2. Some pictures are literally breathtaking ("I once was an angel" I love that one the most 12). I just came across this site by chance but I have to say here something... I would use some harsh words against people who try to criticise you about your pictures, but as I can see, I'm not allowed to do that ;p. Pity ;p. Are people really so narrow - minded in a fantasy & science fiction site? Sorry for saying that, but use some imagination you lousy critics! Or grab a pencil, and try to draw something that beautiful by yourselves! Dark elves can have green skin and violet hair, if you imagine them like that ;p. What? Not true? You want to know the truth critics? Dark elves (which is svartalf, when it comes to legends) look more like dwarfs than elves ;p. Want to be traditional? Read some more history books, or try not to bound yourselves only to AD&D, you sad little people with no social lives except rpg sessions ;p.

As far as I'm concerned your art is simply amazing. You just have to retain your focus on the things that matter the most for you.

And since I'm from Greece I would like to add this information: Fantasy is a Greek word that has the same root with Phantoms (i.e. Ghosts). This is I think an example that fantasy has it's origin in a supernatural place in our minds that is not - and probably cannot - be explored. It is therefore by definition unbounded and manifested differently by each individual. This is much like the fantasy realm of Fantastica in Neverending Story.

Keep amazing us Elsa, you winged goddess you!

Elsa, your artwork is stunning. Your depiction of elves fits my mental picture of them almost better than my own artwork! They are lovely. It’s a shame that some people have to be so narrow minded. I hope that you can come back to elfwood and share more of your art with us someday.

Hi, and welcome back to Elfwood! I just looked through your gallery, and I must say you definetly belong here! You have really great skills, and I’m glad you’ve decided to give Elfwood one more chance 2 I read your bio, and to be honest, I agree with you. I haven’t been here for so long, but I’ve noticed that some people seem to be making their own rules of what’s fantasy and not - some of the moderators too. But I’m sure we’re not the only ones who feel this way, so it shouldn’t be too hard to solve those problems.
Anyway, I hope you once again will enjoy your stay, I would love to see more pictures of you 2

:-) Elsa Kroese replies: "Thanks for the positive reaction 1. Well, first signs are good here at elfwood, to prosess my ticket took only a day or so and every picture got approved so yep, so far so good haha. Thanks again."

I think your things are amazing, but I can’t help with how to "be better" because I don’t use the computer much.

As for fantasy, it’s fanasy, and you can create whatever you want. I mean, Dr. Who does it all the time! I think drows would be cooler blue anyway! ttyl!

hey-o! look at this! i was randomly browsing my favorites, happened upon one of your pictures, decided to reread your bio, and hey-presto! you’re back in the woods again! just thought i’d say hi, so... "Hi!"

Allemaal!
