Evidently, there weren't that many pictures to choose from, but two piqued my interest out of your gallery: the anti-paladin and the Lurking spider. Why refrain from posting commentary on both pictures? Laziness, I guess. Although the elven chap with the torch seemed a tad odd (I don't know why, but his head seems really tiny for some reason), I liked the picture, in general. But this gallery could -definently- use a dwarf or two... David Stormo replies: "No! No Dwarves! They stink, are short and hairy, and slop ale all over the place! Thanks for stopping by, man! The Elf, mmyeah, he's just scenery and besides, he'll be dead in two seconds anyway. "

Thanks for sharing your great art with elfwood. =) I really enjoyed it. - Lydia David Stormo replies: "Thank you very much! "
| 13 Apr 2006 | Lennart Edel | Loading...Greetings, I am Lennart, you Gallery 784 neighbour. Some of these things seem somehow familiar, do you by any chance read the Drizzt novels, I feel inspired to by those books, any how, keep it up. Greetings, Good day & Good luck with you Battle vs Boredom. David Stormo replies: "Well, I never read any Salvatore, but I did play AD&D a lot when I was younger and I enjoyed the computer AD&D games very much too, so yes, indirectly, they've inspired me. Thanks for the comment and for stopping by!" | |

In my opinion this one you use is a bit to soft and the harder one would make your pictures smoother. Anyway I like your pencil work I think your shading is real good David Stormo replies: "A harder pencil would make things smoother, maybe, but it would also make things even lighter, and since I draw with a light hand, that wouldn't be such a good thing. Plus, I erase a lot, and harder pencils leave marks on paper. Thank you for the comment and thanks for stopping by!"
