Hello and welcome to my little corner of the woods.  I am primarily a sculptrix, but also make jewelry and candles; all faerie themed.  I began sculpting in February 2005 after being inspired to by aquiring a Wendy Froud doll.  In the past I primarily sold my work on Ebay, but have been doing shows, gallery exhibits and sell from my website.  You can become my fan on Facebook by looking for Elven elysium the fantasy Art of Molly Stanton.  I put up a lot of in progress pictures there and will be doing some tutorials.

As of 6/1/09 i am no longer taking commissions.  I have always felt that commission work felt awkward for me.  I feel that I need to focus on my own journey!

Your art is fantastic! How on earth do you do the fingers so well? I try to sculpt but I have difficulty with sculpting people. Molly Stanton replies: "You have no idea how happy you made me by liking my fingers. They give me fits an I always think they are the worst things on my pieces. there are some wonderful hand and finger tutorials out there, it is a a matter of getting the basic hand shape, cutting it in quartres (addint thumb later), rolling them round and pulling gently to taper them..." 25 Oct 2009 Lynn Purple Dragoness Lilac Taylor Loading... May I say I love your work. I think that there isn’t one that I dislike. I tryed doing polymer but I only had a toaster oven as so it didn’t do to good. Plus I am no where near talented as you in this medium Molly Stanton replies: "I am blushing I at times use my trusty toaster oven still for very small pieces. More energy efficient and all.
