Well, hello, there. Your page is looking a bit empty as well. I started writing something a few days ago, momentously enough. 'Twas quite surprising. I've been busy writing essays and reading history books and the like lately, but at least this semester I'm in German instead of math so that means I have a lot more time. It also means weird German words sneak into my typing. . . . Anyway, how are you? How goes life with uni? I'm still in high school; I'm supposed to be looking at colleges to apply to but haven't quite gotten myself around to it yet. Hmm. I'm your neighbor two to the right, by the way. Or is it left? I forget. I'm a bit bored, too, which is the main reason for this comment. So, hello!

Darian 'Emberice' Lewis replies: "It's the right. ^^;; Uni goes well enough; end of semester rush right now though. And I also have done a little writing... finished an unrelated short today, and I'm about halfway done SAS 5... will post both when I'm done with the latter."

The Keys to becoming a successful author! Take care of them. - you must always remember this when you are writing. Sight, sound, taste, smell and feeling! They are simple, but many times, if you miss one of these, the book or story just isn’t what it could be! Don’t be afraid to describe in depth of what you see. Your readers don’t know your world. If you want to show them exactly what you are creating, you need to be specific!

Between that and enough gaming to keep myself sane, the only writing I get done is for my writing class. This consists of a few two-page things and three pages a day of random babbling, none of which is really worth editing and tossing up here. So.... yeh."

Hey, neighbor! Long time no see. Really long time, actually, as I’ve never seen you, but that’s beside the point. Somebody commented on my old and dusty page this morning, and that prompted me to get back on and look around. They’ve really cleaned things up; I like the new woodsy feel in the header. It’s just like old times! But now I’m really dating myself. . . .

Well, good luck with whatever you’re up to! I hope you find time to do some writing at some point. I’m off to study for finals--O joy.

The new look around here is rather better than I was expecting, probably because it’s closer to the old look. Might not be time to -completely- give up on Elfwood yet... xD
