He is hungry...

I couldn't think of a name for this strange creature. Due to to what we're doing in literature, a breughel seemed to be the best name, based on the odd hellish paintings of a medieval man. Another suitable name was a gobbley dog, named after a (very) short story on Brom's art site. It looks like it could be a gobbley dog. Well, it harks a little of both painters, so it gets two titles - it's special.

[David Attenborough voice] It is a monster of the forest - it must be a forest of red trees too, or his camoflage is useless and his prey will see him coming. Its odd shape is adapted for life in the trees - it can grabs tree limbs for balance when running and swing from tree to tree in the canopy. It even hangs from its tail in sleep, and anything stupid enough to run/fly into it gets gobbled. This male is currently running after something or someone, and is about to leap, throw its arms up and grab a couple of branches, grab its prey its powerful front legs and bring it up to the poisonous barbs on its back feet. Then it's dinner time... It is a breughel, or colloquially known as a gobbley dog, unintelligent, large, carnivorous and deadly. [/David Attenborough voice]

It all started when I had an urge to draw something slightly odd, vicious, not nice. He started out as a bird-worm thing - I started with the head but found a large beak hard to open like that so, it became a dragon. But the wings went very odd, and I realised it would hang off the page, so it got strange, distorted limbs... And the rest just followed. He is very odd, vicious and not at all nice. People kept looking at me funny when I drew him at school. Ah well. He took up a lot of red coloured pencil.
