Absolon replies: "It never just occured to me that you'd think that! Personally, I don't count this as nudity; fine, she is nude in the way she's not wearing clothes, but it's not rude and I wouldn't think this an unsuitable picture for children. She's not self-conscious or revealing herself; in her culture clothes are a bloody nuisance when you're trying to hunt silently through the trees. Also, she has no breasts/nipples and you can't see anything, she's not acting sexy or even aware of the audience - just a snapshot of a hunter. It's strange you mention her over some of my other pictures - those I can understand a certain uneasiness about, what with nipples. However, I wouldn't describe any of my pictures as porn or unsuitable - I wouldn't post them otherwise. It's ART, which is allowed a little nudity. If you don't like my picture, you don't have to look at it, but some other people might, and it might not be fair to deny them the right. If you aren't keen on non-clothes-wearing folk, look at the thumbnails more carefully before clicking."

I'd also make her face a little different: she makes me think of manga-style art, so maybe you could check out some manga/anime references to get her face and eyes just right. I'd change the shape a little, to make them more feminine. I also think that her legs and ars need some work, cos' her legs are a bit skinny and hte knee is off. I Do LOVE her fluffy-tipped taail, however

When humans were still evolving, we had fur, and, as an effect of that fact, no clothes, as we lost our "fur" we began using other animals hides for protection. This picture portrays a feral sense of the wild, and a keen ,subtle ferocity. I actually really like this piece, especially the hunters spirit shining through. I don't care what you say Vann, this is remarkable, and I applaud you Emma, for creating the picture that you want to create. Its a masterpiece, thank you for placing it in the woods. LyssaQ P.S. I love her eyes, the olour is really different and so is the style, they really shine.

I never understood breasts: they are so sacred, never to be seen, yet so often are they exploited in the clothing women choose to wear, pining only to be the focus of attention and to be looked upon. Why then is a bare woman’s breast so... shameful? How did someone one day come up with the idea that breasts are as we know them to be? Men have breasts, but nobody blushes when we look at them. Though smaller, they are the same. Women are attracted to them, no? They look at a man’s chest the same way a man looks at a woman’s chest. If we did not see breasts as we do now, there would never be a problem with topless females in art, of any kind: movies, pictures, etc.; women would walk on the beaches alongside men with their shirts off - it would not be against the law to do so. Does female toplessness, or nudity as a whole of man and woman, really hurt anyone? Should there be shame in it?
