More GCSE work! What is a mermaid but a fish anthro? I've always been annoyed by the disney 'sea-shell bra-ed, perfect hair, soft skin' kind of mermaid, because if you live in the sea, you are ugly. You have scales, pointy teeth for your fishy diet, gills, any kind of clothing will weigh you down, let alone heavy shells that would fill with water, everything is webbed and the closest you can get to hair is a dorsal fin or some kind of seaweed. So there Disney! I have a proper evolved mermaid! Nyerr!

Ahem. So, here he or she is - I can't actually tell. Nearly A4 in oil pastels - The scanner can't show that there are silver highlights down the fin, or that he/she has golden eyes, and refused to show the turquoisey-ness, but I'm still happy with him/her/it.
