SciFi and Fantasy Art Crocodilian Dragon by Erin M. Schmidt

Possibly, I'm irritated at the growing popularity of the happy fluffy mammalian dragon that seems to be taking over the world of fantasy art. Perhaps I'm sick of dragons being portrayed as caring, sharing, pretty little beasts, and long for the return of the scaly, ferocious, damsel-devouring leviathan.

. . . Or, perhaps I just shouldn't sketch while watching 'The Crocodile Hunter'. Original scan replaced Oct. 14, 2001, with a version that shows more of the wings. So now it's small, dark and crappy, which may be an improvement.

29 Mar 2004	Sunny	Loading... The tail looks pretty heavy. Is it biped? Or quadriped(is that the word?)? I find it kind of confusing how the dragon can fly with that heavy tail, but that's what makes dragons neat. Interesting choice of colors.
