	It started with a photo of a crane hawk - these days, whenever I see an unusual raptor, I have to gryphon-ize it. I've been experimenting with ink detailing lately, so this was pretty much inevitable. It was an interesting change from more dimensional color and graphite work, but I think my hand is going to drop off at the wrist if I ever try this again. Ow.

Without pics on elfwood to remind me I might have forgotten it meant 'bird of prey' rather than just being a type of dinosaurs (dromoaeosauridae to be precise). Oh yes, the picture. I have to agree with others on the detail of the feather work and that excessive ahading would obscure that. Congrats on Mod's choice.
