This one was different. I like that you choose a different type of bird to represent the phoenix, It looks really exotic.

It's interesting to see how phoenixes are depicted. To the Chinese it was more of a peacock-like bird, and to the Greeks and Europeans it was a fiery eagle. I like this one - the pheonix is meant to depict grace and beauty as well as power, which a heron-type shorebird would. And the coloration is just amazing.

This phoenix looks hotter the other phoenixi I've seen in these woods. The pink in the wings is a nice touch.

Dis is soo cool! did u get inspiration from a waterbird-crane thing?? it's beautifully coloured - it looks like dere are flames just below it's surface/feathers...i'm confusing myself now... agen, dat's just awsome!!
