You know how when you listen to some songs they make you think of something? Well 'Into the West' makes me think of Math Guy by some cliffs. Or sketchy credits. He's looking surprisingly serene for being dressed so fancy. Visually (as opposed to conceptually- we already covered that) inspired by the LOTR movie styles and my John Howe calendar.

I love his outfit! Soooo purdy. Hmmm... Into the West just makes me cry. I listen to that song over and over, and it still makes me sob!!! Especially after I watch ROTK.
What can you seeeeee... ON THE HORIZON???
Why do the whiiiite guuuulls caaaaaaaaalll??

:-) Erin Nagy replies: "Why DO the white gulls call? Isn't it interesting how that song makes dirty dirty seagulls majestic? Thanks! I'm glad you like his clothes... I doubt he does! ^-^"

What a dramatic pose, it just.....fits. I think I’d like it better if the waves crashed more at the base of the cliffs, though. By the way, awesome song, Howard Shore is awesome, and Enya too. 4

:-) Erin Nagy replies: "Hmm, ya think? ’Cause I was kinda thinking the water was a long way down when I was working on it... Thank you!"

I love that song, and I love this piece! The cliffs and the seabirds are amazing, and I love the style of his garb!
