SciFi and Fantasy Art Fairy Shamaness by Wendy Ennaedwyn Fowler

- The Fairy Shamaness...magical, mystical traveller of the Fey, fairies, imps, etc. She sprinkles bits of magic and wisdom through out all of our lives...we just have to be patient and open to see the messages she leaves us and not ponder the answer too hard...

- Done on 140 cold pressed Fabriano watercolor paper (which is fabulous stuff! Has almost a canvas like quality), mainly watercolor, some white gouache, acrylic and ink (white and brown) and a hint of colored pencil

I didnt know you could do that with watercolor! the only possible critisizm I could say is that the leg joint looks kinda funny but this picture is so good I could hardly care less. Well done. Wendy Ennaedwyn Fowler replies: "Lots of LIGHT washes layered and layered and layered and layered / repeat process. I think what helped was the paper I was using...I think I like Fabriano Uno and Lanaquarelle watercolor paper the best. Noted on the leg and thanks for the critique!"
