I love the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. Shota is a witch character...she's neither good nor bad. She takes care of herself. When she travels, she carries her throne in a vial hung 'round her neck. The stone gargoyles on her throne lick her wrists when she sits on it. I like the imagery, though I find it more than a little strange. Drawn with pencil, then drawn over in felt-tipped pens. Weee! It was fun! I'm particularily proud of the way her skirt drapes.

She really looks like I imagined her to be! Really well drawn! You can see she's not a nice person, but very seductive.

:-) Nelli J. Vanderburg replies: "Good! I'm glad I was able to help you envision Shota. Funnily enough, she didn't turn out exactly the way I thought she should look, but I'm happy that you like her. Thanks for commenting!"

I like the folds, the shading and the overall anatomy. And I'm particularly fond of the two little imps.
You might want to work on faces a little. Have you seen Loomis book on anatomy? You can get that at http://fineart.sk/
That'll give you the finishing touch to make this a really great picture.

Cheers,
Kai

:-) Nelli J. Vanderburg replies: "Thanks for the book suggestion. I wasn't particularily fond of the way her face turned out, myself. I messed up while inking it."
