SciFi and Fantasy Art Dwarven Fist by Eric J Magie

Well I've been messing around with the whole Dwarf army thing Here's a quick illustration I did, which shows the make up of a Dwarf Unit. War Hammers Ancient Battles Roman Army set up inspired me. I used an illustration they had for a Roman army for reference. I made these small units called fists. Ten fists make up a Dwarven Legion. The one thing I had problems with this picture was the individual soldier meshes together allot, it makes it hard to see all the detail.

Ok, I am unsure but you may want to set that group up a little more strategically. such as the spearmen in front, then the crossbowmen, then the rest. mind you, I don't think dwarves really used pole arms. Cannot remember. Also they don't use much wood, They live underground.
