I got really depressed the other day because i just spent $1200 to get my phlebotomy certification and no one will hire me. So I went therapy shopping with money i don't have and bought some pastels and this was the result. i like the randomness of the background. the whole thing took me about 15 min.

I like the colors! I never have luck with pastels and I believe you did a fine job.

These pastels are very angry! You should calm them down with a nice relaxing bath or a cup of coffee or something.

Great art makes great pain: it depends where you insert it...

I like this; I can't believe it took only fifteen minutes. The vivid, hot colours that you use convey a sense of anger. The expression on the faerie's face captures frustration and irritation. The chaotic background and the quick, almost hurried lines add to the general feel of the piece, although the colour seems to speak of impending misery. The darkness of the sun seems to cast a softer, sadder glow on the whole thing yet it maintains and balances the anger. Excellent work.

Disclaimer: I am not, I repeat, not an artist. I am only a simple writer (and not a particularly good one). The point is, if I don't make sense blame my non-artness. My anti-artness really.

22 Erin M. Ramos replies: "wow! that is quite possibly the most impressive comment I have ever received. For someone who's not an artist that was a wonderfully satisfying comment. Thank-you!"

The only reason this will continue to remain is because it is one of the original 4 I uploaded to open my gallery. It holds a special place in my heart ^^

It has a certain messy freedom to it that you only find in children's drawings...I love it!
