Erin M. Keenan

Erin is a high school student who draws fantasy art. She also does some fan art, and some short stories.

Hey all! Well, about me. I'm eighteen years old, and am pretty much self taught. I have had some pointers from my dad, who is an artist, and my sister Alexis M. Keenan (who also has a page here at Elfwood). My art is mostly fantasy; dragons fairys, phoenix's and the like. I also do other things like Were's and Vampires. I try to write (as I tell people I pretend to be an author, and have a story in the works which, if all goes well, will become a book) but my library is...well it's pathetic. Okay, pathetic is harsh. It's rought. My style hadn't quite developed, I don't think, when I wrote that stuff, and I was experimenting with genres. Anyway! As for future plans, I will be attending UC Berkeley this fall with a major in Biology. As mentioned before I wantt o be an author, because I think that is one fo the greatest legacies one can leave behind! To wrap things up, I'd like to say that CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is ALWAYS welcome (no nasty insults, please, saying 'That's terrible, I'd burn it' or anything along that line. I've had those before and, to quote an old and worn saying, 'if you can't say something nice (or at least constructive) don't say anything at all.') I hope you enjoy my work, and I absolutly love comments, so leave as many as you'd like ;)!

10 Jun 2002	Theodore Roy Hellqvist	Loading... Hi Erin; This is very nice stuff. But I agree with Svenja and Tabitha that it's hard to see. You might want to try rescanning them and then, if your scanner software has them, then playing with the contrast and brightness sliders until you get a better image. I've had the same problem with some of my photos, only they sometimes are too contrasty rather than not enough. It's definitely (in my opinion) worth working on this as its easy to do and this looks like awesome stuff. Hope you can get some more up too.---Ted
10 Oct 2002	Lia Angelene Tomco	Loading... I love how you use paper that looks aged, or maybe that's a happy accident of scanning? Whatever the reason, it gives your images a nice, 'ancient found' look, and gives it some cool charm.
