It's a Lance picture, yay! To cut a very long story short, this is symbolic of Lance's need to be submissive to a 'God' figure. After he was cast out of Heaven he found himself looking to Lucifer for that figure, and then after that without one at all. It might be a little hard to see his wings in this picture...because I wanted to work with *just* black and white, and not shade anything for contrast. In the end, I realize that I should have done the background black and left the chains in a negative white, it would have looked much better. Maybe I'll redraw it and make it look right one day.
