oooooo **first comment jig-slide and CRACK!.....face-connecting-with-floor* Oooooo I like this one a lot. For a first try EVER, this is awesome, heck, for a fiftieth try ever, this is awesome. I love the emotion in his face, he does look a bit confused, like he isnt really sure what to do with the spear or more like, he's thinking "I have to do WHAT with this?? You expect me to KILL something?? I didnt know that was part of the job...." ^_^ Very cute. I love the backgroudn too, nottoo complicated, so it doesnt take away from him. Ugh.. I can nver get their shadows right... I always put it to the wrong side... Nnnngh.
Anyways, thanks for commenting at my place, keep up the good work, (and dont let college drain you of Fantasy-ness!!! FIGHT BACK! =^.^=)

Conley replies: "Well thanks! ) Yeah that's about the expression I was going for...he doesn't seem too eager to take on his new role! ;o) He's kind of a wimp but oh so cute ) as for the shadows, well, the nice thing about this picture is there's no obvious light source, so there wasn't really any wrong way to do it ;o) And I'm trying not to get the fantasy art sucked out of me! *clings to Elfwood* Thanks for stopping by and commenting! )"

What can I say? "Simple but effective", yup, that says it. Nice face. I wonder what he's looking at? I also like the spear.

Maybe try to make the spear longer than the body, so it seems more realistic.
