| 29 Aug 2003 | Nadja the Weird | Loading...My money's on Zone 47, just cause I always go for the underdog (which would ALSO explain the fact that I'm utterly broke). I like the sky. Erin N. Conley replies: "Heh...if you're utterly broke, then I guess you're not losing anything by betting all your money, hm? ;o) I've actually come to the conclusion that Wyvern's Library would win--all the other galleries would kill each other. Thanks!" | |
| 22 Sep 2003 | Heather R. Davis | Loading...Magic vs Technology? ..Pff Magic all the way! Just wait till this world gets a taste of magic *Grins with an evil plot in mind..* Loth all the way! *Cheers on!* Haha! Nice idea ^_^ Erin N. Conley replies: "HEhe exactly! I mean technology always has limits and specifications, but "magic" is so nebulous and vague that it can do about anything you say it can do! ;o) Thanks lots!" | |
| 17 Oct 2003 | Taelor 'Tater' Skinner | Loading...I am not completely unbiased but what if it went back to the time old tale? The unicorns, good robots, humanoid things and such join forces to attack the evil drow, aliens, androids etc.Or you could have the whole cyber thingies.A new race of half-faerie,half robot creatures overthrow the old regime of ruling Elves and aliens!Mwa ha ha!Whoops went over board there.=cough=It's a cool picture by the way. Please come visit my gallery(Is it still called that in Wyvern's)if the stupid ticket ever gets around to being checked.Besides,we wouldn't win,we'd all by safely on the sidelines making records and epic poems. Erin N. Conley replies: "Hehe yes...which is why we would win, everyone else would be dead ;o) there's an interesting idea though, blending the two areas...wizards using spaceships? fairies with giant guns? cyborgs with medieval dresses? it could happen ;o)" | |
| 25 Nov 2003 | Amy Smith | Loading...I wanna draw a cyber-faerie!!! Erin N. Conley replies: "Cyber fairy? Great idea! I can just see her with pretty butterfly wings and borg-like implants...so would that be fantasy or sci fi? ;o)" | |
| 6 Mar 2004 | Klange | Loading...Wow! Great pic! It makes me laugh! But it makes me sad. Now there's no one to fight against anymore.. except the library and Fanquarter.. Who would win then? My money is on SF&F, but I like the idea of Pikachu and Snape as moderators. LOL! Erin N. Conley replies: "I know! the meaning of this picture was suddenly obliterated when they decided to do the merger! ;o) Guess I can draw a new picture of them calling a truce ;o) I wouldn't want to go to war against the library, as I have an account there too ;o) Fanquarter maybe....hmmm....*gets idea for pictures of elf and alien together fighting against My Little Pony and Harry Potter characters* ;o)" | |
| 15 Mar 2004 | Luving Haldir and Legolas | Loading...ZONE 47 WOULD SOOOOOOOO LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!MAgic versus guns? You dont even have to think about it.This is such an awesome drawing i love it!Very creative Erin N. Conley replies: "Exactly! Technology has limitations but magic is pretty much invincible because no one's really ever defined what it can or can't do ;o) Too bad there is no Zone 47 or Lothlorien anymore....oh well, thanks! ) " | |
| 7 Aug 2004 | Rhiannon Swain | Loading...I love how much controversy this pic has caused! ^_^ I'm going with the Library, though! Even if we DID get in a fight, the writers can write ANYTHING! We can create cybogs to use magic and BWA! We win! Muahahahahaha! *ahem* ..... sorry.... i had to say my piece. this is a very orignial idea. i like it a lot! good imagination! *hands you a cookie* Erin N. Conley replies: "Yeah you have a point there...writer can write about things that can exist only in word ;o) Glad you like this, even though it's not really applicable anymore! Thanks very much! )" | |
| 8 Dec 2004 | Steven P. Love | Loading...Although the picture background needs some refinement I like the idea of aliens fighting with the mythical creatures of the old world. With the cross over movies that were made recently, namely "Freddy versus Jason" and "Alien versus Predator", I wouldn't be surprised if a "Lord of the Rings" meets "Star Trek", or something like it, came out eventually. Erin N. Conley replies: "Now there's a crossover I'd pay to see ;o) "Beam me up, Frodo" ;o)" | |
| 16 Nov 2005 | Marcus W. Ager | Loading...That elf's bow is very short. Perhaps it is a short----bow? (waits for laughter. Gives up after a while). As to who would win the war? Us over at the Wyvern's Library of course! Don't listen to Taelor, he was sent to lull you into a false sense of security! Bwahaha! Our time is neigh! Rally to me, fellow writers! Seriously, we have Wyverns and a Library. There's nothing we can't do (have you ever been hit in the face with a book? not fun.) Challenge us if you wish, but you will fall to our might like....like...hmmm...Give me a few to think of a suitable metaphore. And don't you dare try to ambush us while I think! ^^ Erin N. Conley replies: "Psh, the writers would spend so much time trying to decide on the exact word to correctly describe the color of the blood that they'd get their heads chopped off before they could even think of a dramatic synonym for "stop!" ;o) Of course, you realize that since I now belong to all of the elfwood areas, I'd be toast no matter who won ;o) *ambushes herself*" | |
| 21 Apr 2007 | Emily Rose Betzler | Loading...Well... intreguing idea here. Actually absolutely fantastic. I love all the colors! However... I can see through them... they're just posing there for the publicity. I'll bet they'll go off to Starbucks after this and have a nice long debate about Pirates v. Ninjas. And about the elf's most excellent clothing. Erin N. Conley replies: "No no, no pirates vs. ninja talk here! I think you're right about the posing though, they don't look like they *really* want to kill each other...and now that the fantasy and sci fi sides of Elfwood have been combined, why should they? ;o) Thanks!" | |
