A fairy quietly reflects as she watches the setting sun...
This is just a photo of me (used with my permission!), added wings in Adobe Photoshop Elements (I can't draw with the mouse to save my life) and called myself a fairy. :o)

Muahahaaaa first comment! I really like this effect, it's so subtle, especially the little veins in the wings. Great work!

:-) Erin N. Conley replies: "Hehe thanks! Thanks especially for noticing the veins, they don't stand out much but they took forever! ;o)"

Beautiful picture here Erin, I like it very much. She looks both poignant and pensive. Really cool!

:-) Erin N. Conley replies: "Thank you! Especially since it's a self-portrait of sorts 19) *goes to get her eyes checked, as she first read "poignant" as "pregnant"* ;oP"

this is a fantastic picture. It is really beautiful. the only criticism that i have is that, to me, wings would grow out of the middle of the back rather than further on the sides. does that even make any sense? anyways it is a beautiful picture2

11 Erin N. Conley replies: "Hmm a fair point 19) It's really hard to tell with fairies...dragon wings tend to grow from the shoulders...and I've never seen a butterfly up close enough to tell whether they grow from the sides or middle...*shrugs* so I had to just guess ;o) Besides, this way I had less hair to dodge *cough* ;o) Thanks for the comment!</a></i></a></b></a></i>"

Shouldn´t the permission come from the photographer? 2
I like the wings and sunsets are always sunsets!!!

1 Erin N. Conley replies: "Well, considering the photographer was my sister, and she's already seen the picture, and hasn't objected, I assume that means I have her permission! ;o) And thank you, the wings were the hardest part, since they were the only part I added ;o) And...why yes, sunsets ARE always sunsets *gives you a slightly perplexed look* Thanks for leaving a comment! 19)"

You did not draw that you lier.

1 Erin N. Conley replies: "Word of advice: reading picture's descriptions before you comment on them will prevent you from further making a fool out of yourself in the future 19)"

I see a concept here... Ordinary people wandering ordinary streets, without knowing that in real they all are fairies. 1

1 Erin N. Conley replies: "hehe now you're talking...perhaps you can catch a glimpse of fairy wings in just the right light at just the right time....I see a fantasy movie starting to form here ;o)"

Many of the pictures in my gallery are photos that I digitally altered even though it may not look like it at first. But one picture that is an obvious photo manipulation is "Attack of the Space Demons 2; the invasion begins". If you haven't seen it during your last visit to my gallery, take a look, I think you'll find it interesting. You have the right idea with your picture but the wings you added are very faint and hard to see. I could give you some ideas on how to make them more prominent if you're interested.

2 Erin N. Conley replies: "Thanks anyway, but having the wings be nearly transparent is exactly what I was going for 19)"

It turned out well!!! I'd love to be able to do such things but i have no clue on how to work on photographs8... Oh well. I like your long hair2!!!

1 Erin N. Conley replies: "Well, if you ever get your hands on a copy of Photoshop, go to www.good-tutorials.com, they've got lots of good tutorials there (not surprisingly). Thanks!"
