Now the elements seem to fit better with each other, and the over-all feeling of the piece is much more balanced. I like the additional effects on this one aswell. Much more drama and movement. The prev. version was more like a random catastrophy, where this one indeed is an apocalypse. There will be little left of the known world after this Erik J. Wiborg replies: "Ah... good, good! I actually am very glad the mag-editors made me redo the effects. They told me about the same things you just did. And I am really content with it! Thank you for the comment! C u around!!!"

Wiborg replies: "Hehe, It actually was supposed to look like the road continued behind her, just that you could´t see it because she was on top of a hill or something. But annyway, thank you for the comment!!"

The young girl shows a sense of our own mortality, caught in a crossfire between multiple opposing forces that are the tidal wave, the interplanetary bombardment and the raging inferno. Also reminding me of another quote by a poet I can't remember the name of, "This is how the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper..." I could go on giving so many quotes about this, but who in the right mind would throw up the book of the Apocalypse from the bible in such a small spot. Your work displays the sense of our own mortality EXTREMELY well. kudos to you Erik J. Wiborg. Erik J. Wiborg replies: "Thanks a heap mate! Think I ll have to read that part! Cheers"
