This is a long poem turned into song lyrics and the basic idea for a picture I painted. So we go a long way, Silent and I, and it's always been one of my favorites. To get in the mood, think of a dark forest. The moon is shining and gives the incoming mist a silvery color. Then you see it...

Carrying a light nobody sees

in a land nobody knows

in a world lost to all but her

in a universe that doesn't exist

She's a shadow of the past

a breeze in a still night

a ripple on the surface

of a lake cold and clear

She mourns what has been

and is yet to come

She longs for the peace she has never known

and the love no one can give

The soundless cries

of a voice never used

Of a child that was never born

Erica Newkumet replies: "I tried to get the picture up, but I think it had too much color to see it properly, so it didn't work. You couldn't really see anything but a big moon and some black. But I'll try to redo it sometime in the future. "
