	Inspired by Bram Stokers 'Dracula'. Here Lucy is being entranced by Dracula. She is still innocent before he begins feeding on her blood each night. I wanted the background to feel like a maze, like there is no escape.

I love the palette you used for this, and you're right; that background really adds to it. Erika Schulz replies: "This is a paper collage. The whole thing! It took forever. Mostly because I kept running out of papers as I was working. The papers I use come in very small pieces. It is one of my largest collage pieces to date at 12 by 14 inches. "

17 Jul 2005	Deborah K. Gordon	Loading... wow! a paper collage? no way! this is beautiful, in fact, it reminds me of a scene from a book i used to have- the bit in 'Aladdin' where he's in the dungeon and Jafar comes disguised as the old man.
