	This is a paper collage portrait of the greek god of the woodland. He was a satyr (half man, half goat) who played reed pipes made in honor of his love, a nymph who turned herself into the reeds to escape him.

13 Nov 2004	Maria	Loading... Pan's pipes (which is where the name comes from) were actually MADE from the reeds that the nymph changed into- the story is that the pipe's mournful tunes are the nymph's soul crying.... Erika Schulz replies: "Of course You know your stuff."
