A person can read it either slow or fast and get the same feeling from it, which is something that's hardly ever achieved-well, from what I've seen! Very good stuff, Esther!

Was it your intention, or just my imagination, but at the end I felt as though this is still something that the speaker, the one who seeks another, is only dreaming, only looking to the day when she will not be alone. It just felt like a dreamlike sensation. I must be overimagining and taking it apart too deeply. It is well as it is, regardless of secret sad endings. This poem is really about God, or a guardian angel - the insecurities of faith which are reassured and affirmed in the end, so I don't think it's a sad ending at all...More, a happy one This poem is very personal to me as it's happened to me many a time when I've been feeling insecure or think I have lost my faith.

| 18 May 2002 | Anouk R.K. Morgan | Loading...It's about God and Faith? I can see how that can be.. but i think to me it is ,personally, more about a special person i hold deeply.. this poem is really touching and it opens emotions inside of me. Lovely work' | |
