I can definitely feel the sense you portrayed of longing, yearning for a person. I can really feel this poem when I read it. In a way, it is a little ironic that the circumstances surrounding what the poem is about are sad, but your memories seem to be so happy that it is like the reader is looking back into your past, into your happy memories. It's a lovely poem, really it is. Oh, and by the way.. thank you for the uplifting words you left about my poetry. The memories are happy, that's what makes it so sad...Ah, the irony.

You nearly moved me to tears, Esther. You are amazing.I am moved to touch you so deeply. I hope the forgotten memories weren't too hard to face...

You never know when it may disappear. You are truly inspirational. I don't know what it is about your choice of words, but it really strikes a chord. It's also nice to read work from someone at home. You can bet I'll be back
