Esther is a child therapist who has been writing fantasy prose and poetry eversince she learnt to string words together. Next to writing, she loves everything fantasy, reading, movies, music traveling, shopping, her playstation and nintendo and most of all, spending time with her loved ones.

Dear Readers, Welcome to my world, just around the corner of my mind. Reality is an intruder here, imagination the only key. Beyond the sumptuous and surreal settings of my fantasy resides the truth as I know it. In my 27 years, writing has always been my lifeblood. I write both prose and poetry. My muse and inspiration comes in the many forms of: music, particularly new age/trance group, Enigma, anime, films (Some favourites amongst the enormous pile are: Fight Club, Gone with the Wind, Amadeus, Interview With the Vampire, Rain Man, American Beauty, The Matrix, Hook, The Indiana Jones Trilogy …everything by Steven Spielberg, James Cameron and dark genius Tim Burton, and all the fantasy movies I’ve ever known and grown up on like Labyrinth, The Princess Bride and LadyHawke), reading inspirational writers such as Anne Rice, Oscar Wilde, Mervyn Peake, Neil Gaiman, Tanith Lee, Francesca Lia Block, Donna Jo Napoli, Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (of Dragonlance fame), J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien… I’m an avid fan of fairytales, fables, myths, legends, ancient history, the gothic, supernatural and paranormal. Life also inspires me greatly as do comments! So please leave some - I will be eternally grateful :)! I hope you enjoy my works as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them.
