Would love to see if you did anymore work on this. The topic has come up at KevinsWatch.com several times; fact is, it is very very difficult to pull this off without important visual cues like... hmmm... EYES!

Well, I could be mistaken, but my interpretation is that the Waynhim have no eyes, but the ur-viles (Vain anyway) have them. Recall from White Gold Wielder the remarks about Vain’s "black orbs" showing no emotion...clarification anyone?

Page 360 of Runes of the Earth, describing ur-vile loremaster: "wide nostrils in the center of its eyeless face"

Vain was created in human form for a purpose. Ur-Viles are similar to waynhim in that they have no eyes (Think Giger’s ’Alien’ as a reference point) but have a pointed nose with enlarged flared nostrils. Also larger with obsidian skin as opposed to the Waynhim’s grey...

I thought that ur-vile/waynhim ears looked like cat ears rather than human ears. I also thought that the ur-vile/waynhim face was vaguely doglike, though with the nostrils filling up the face.
I’ve even given some thought as to how the body would look on all fours and standing upright. They are the most intriguing of all fantasy "villain" races, aren’t they?!?
But anyway, good work!
