Somewhere

…Far away…

Beyond time
Light
And twining tendrils of
Moss,
Lies a forlorn, dying fae.

Her delicate wings are broken.
The fading light of day
Falters
And the fraying edges of the once
Perfectly sculpted,
Colorful glass sway with the whispering voice of the
Wind.

…Fading…

Her dew-drop tears sting her cheeks.
Moon light traces its fingers
Lightly
Down her burnt, and twisted back
Sending shivers
Up her body, as her kin raise their tiny, porcelain fists to the
Sky.

Once upon a time
Somewhere

…Close by…

Near bitter
Reality
And blooming fears of
Dreams,
There stood a youth who cried,

"I do not believe!"
