Hey everybody, and welcome to my little nook amongst the clutter of Elfwood. I'm a writer, and I particularily love poetry and short prose. A lot of my work isn't very "modern", but you never know. Maybe what to come will be.

I've just started writing again after a few years of silence and a still pen, but I've felt my inspiration come back to me these last months, and I feel I've finally plucked up the courage to do something about it, and hopefully expand my abilities as a writer, however small they may be at the moment. I hope to put up new work very, very soon.

I'm seventeen years old, and recently moved to the Netherlands, Holland, from western Canada, British Columbia, to be with my Dutch boyfriend. Well, I hate it here, and I'm moving back. I miss my friends, my family, and my support system. I miss my small town, where everyone was your friend. There was just so much good energy. Vancouver Island will forever be my home, not this stuck up place (however historic and beautiful the cities may be).

My goal is to write a novel that will help teenagers and other self injurers learn to cope with various things. Depression, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, etc. I hope to reach out to all these people, tell them my story, and hopefully let them know they're not alone. I feel I have a lot to offer, because I have struggled with all of these things, since the time I was very young. I want to give back. If there's one thing you should know about me, is that I care. I care a lot.

I love reading other people's work too, so just drop me a line and I'll give you a good critique also, if I can. Never be afraid to criticise, just do it in the right way. NO BASHING! :)
