| 17 Jun 2001 | Megan N. Humphrey | Loading...Yeah her foot does seem a bit akward ( needs spellcheck ) , but it's a neat pic . It would look better colored , but just ignore that because I haven't colored any of my pic so =P Eric W Evans replies: "Heh, I am very glad to hear I am not the only one. =)" | |
| 28 Feb 2002 | Bern14me2 | Loading...You may have hung like that but i would have to see anyone shot there bow like that it aint going to happen.I remember a thing called gravity. And it will take control of the arrow i realy like this but rework the archery part. Eric W Evans replies: "I know what you are saying... my excuse is that... the bow... has... a specicial upside down nock.... Yes, that's it! Maybe...." | |
| 20 Mar 2002 | Anonymous | Loading...Yes. For some reason, gravity affects a bow when it's upside down but not when it's right-side-up. The archery part works fine, and being that she is an elf, I'm sure she's a perfect archer when hanging from a tree I love it, especially the foot holding her up. Almost anyone would have twisted that leg into a really odd position, but you did a great job of it. Congrats! I love it! Eric W Evans replies: "Thanks for your comments!" | |
| 14 Jun 2002 | Sophia Hutchings | Loading...*laughs* What a cool pic!! If it weren't dark outside I'd go out and see if I could do that too!! That really is an awesome pose there, beautifully pulled off too. And yeah, who cares if the arrow would fly or not? It's a great picture! Eric W Evans replies: "Thanks! I have to admit I enjoyed trying it out, but I have always love climbing trees. =)" | |
| 22 Jun 2002 | Jesse Gillies | Loading...Hey, me too. I'm glad I'm not the only person who wants to try that when it's light out. I don't know much about archery, but I think that'd work out ok, especially for an elf. I love the picture though. I can't help but wonder what the target is. Eric W Evans replies: "I am glad to hear you like it! No idea what she was supposed to be aiming at anymore.... Did I mention i like climbing trees. =)" | |
| 2 Aug 2002 | Marius Ernst | Loading...If I try that, I wouldn't hit anything but the ground. With my head . But, well, I'm not a woodelf. You did draw her pose very well. Just one question arises: why would anyone adapt a pose like this, if you can just as well sit comparatively comfortable on that branch? Eric W Evans replies: "Well, being under the branch could allow you a better shot especialy if the tree has dense foliage.... That is what I would like to think at least. =P " | |
| 19 Nov 2002 | IanDavion | Loading...I take it that you are refering to gravityin the respect to how the arrow will fall off the arrow rest? Well maybe he has a whisker bisquit , not even shooting upside down will pull the arrow out of that thing . Eric W Evans replies: "Oh yes! That is true. Thanks for your comment." | |
| 26 Nov 2005 | Lyon; genius boy | Loading...Haha,............. Once again i have found an instance where the artist was right without knowing it,..... Haha you see, the arrow being nocked is also held by the fingertips, unless you have never used a bow bedore, it would be quite easy to keep the arrow straight, even from that position and not only that, the arrow is in a very strong bow, which is probably going to create slipstream around the arrow, (not behind, around) and heep iy from falling due to downwaed pull Eric W Evans replies: "I am very glad to be right every once in a great while. Thank you for your comments. =)" | |
