Winken, Blinken, and Nod one night
Sailed off in a wooden shoe --
Sailed off on a river of crystal light,
Into a sea of dew.
"Where are you going, and what do you wish?"
The old moon asked the three.
"We have come to fish for the herring fish
That live in the beautiful sea;
Nets of silver and gold have we!"


Said Winken,

Blinken,

And Nod.

it reminds me of when my dad used to read us a book of poetry before bed, and he read us that one. sigh, it makes me want to cry, one minute you are a little child getting read to, then the next minute you are reading the same poems to your children, and then to your grandchildren. i don’t want to grow up. i don’t want to grow up.
